Application guide

How to use LIHA automotive touch-up spray paint

  1. Verify the shade: Match the vehicle, model, OEM shade name and paint code before opening the can.
  2. Prepare the surface: Clean, degrease, sand and mask the repair area. Treat rust and use a compatible automotive primer where required.
  3. Mix and test: Shake the aerosol thoroughly according to the label. Test the colour and spray pattern on a separate sample or hidden area.
  4. Apply light coats: Spray several thin, even coats at the distance stated on the can. Allow the specified flash time between coats; do not apply one heavy coat.
  5. Apply clear coat: For metallic, pearl and high-gloss shades, apply a compatible automotive clear coat after the colour coat has flashed or dried as directed.
  6. Allow to cure: Protect the repaired area from water, dust and polishing until the coating system has fully cured.

Colour-match note: Vehicle age, fading, previous repairs, primer colour, coat thickness, clear coat and application technique can affect the final result. Product images and screens are visual guides only.
